PUBLIC and NON-MEMBERS
Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association is a not-for-profit association incorporated under the Societies Act of Alberta. ACTLA is not a law office and staff are unable to provide legal advice. Legal questions should be directed to lawyers listed in ACTLA's 'Looking-For-A-Lawyer?' service.
In addition to continuing legal education, publications and networking for members, ACTLA advocates on behalf of its members on matters affecting those members and their clients. Examples include advocating on behalf of car crash victims, automobile insurance and driving safety (cell phones).
Members of the public are encouraged to contact their MLA and speak out on legislative matters.
Complaints regarding any lawyer should be directed to The Law Society of Alberta.
Media inquiries should be directed to ACTLA spokespersons or to the ACTLA office.
